"Despite paying $x,xxx & covered under so-called ‘warranty,’ they still asked me to pay for labour cost and motor replacement!?”

Discover why most motorised zip blinds FAIL!

AND—What's the hidden secret behind most vendors' warranties
which exclude labour, transports, and motors?

You finally got your dream Condo!
After all those years of saving, planning, and those long-awaited BTO gains, your effort has finally paid off!

You’ve seen your friends or neighbours with zip blinds on their balconies.
And you are imagining what an enclosed balcony could bring to your new home:

Maybe a cozy little corner for coffee, a kid-safe play area, or a WFH setup with fresh air!

But did you know choosing the wrong zip blinds could be the difference between a beautiful, restful balcony space and a nightmare of constant jams, water leaks, and costly repairs?

🚨 Blinds getting stuck or jamming halfway—your belongings exposed to rainwater when you needed protection the most.
🚨 Fabric detaching & tear—Cheaper materials can’t withstand Singapore’s high-rise, high-humility climate.
🚨 Subpar warranty—Some brands advertise “5-year warranties,” but you still have to pay for labor, transport, and key repairs.
🚨 Customer support gone MIA—you end up with no real help when issues arise.

You might have seen these stories online, Google reviews, and even Condo chat groups or heard them from your friends or neighbors.

If you are NOT careful, installing zip blind can be your biggest Reno regrets:

Why Do Most
Motorized Zip Blinds Fail?

Why Do Most Motorized Zip Blinds Fail?

After producing over 10,000 zip blind panels, and speaking to hundreds of real customers / distributors over the past 8 years, we discovered that there are TWO biggest culprits:

After producing over 10,000 zip blind panels, and speaking to hundreds of real customers / distributors over the past 8 years, we discovered that there are TWO biggest culprits:

CULPRIT #1: They’re NOT Designed for
High-Rise Condo Apartments

Did you know that zip blinds were originally invented in Australia?

They were originally meant for ground-level patios. Where wind and humidity levels are much lower.

  • "But I thought Australia winds are stronger?" yes, true. But their zip blinds sit in backyards, not 20 floors up. Without the right reinforcements, traditional designs struggle to stay stable at greater heights.

  • Singapore has higher humidity than Australia - this traps Water inside the fabric. When the blinds roll up, trapped moisture causes operational problems, making it harder for the system to function smoothly. Over time, this leads to wear and tear, reducing the blind’s lifespan.

  • Motorized Systems Need a Different Build – Over time, zip blinds have evolved to motorized systems, but not all designs have kept up. Motorized blinds require a different build for smooth operation and durability.

  • Different use cases are also why 1% openness fabric took so long to enter the Singapore market. Australian zip blinds typically use 5%–10% openness fabric because they’re designed for enjoying the outdoor view, not for privacy. But in Singapore, where high-rise living means closer neighbors, privacy matters.

  • As a result…, they have higher risks for jam, sag, fabric misaligned and even tear!

That’s why we designed the system from scratch to work for high-rise condos.

CULPRIT#2: Cheap, Mass-Produced Materials
That Wear Out Quickly

Let’s be real—not all zip blind material like fabrics are made the same.

Most zip blinds fall into two major categories:

#1 Reputable, International-Standard Fabrics.

These cost more, but for good reason.

This fabric has a PVC layer that allows the zipper to be sealed using high-frequency welding.

This means better durability, stronger resistance to wear and tear, and a longer lifespan.

#2 Mass-Produced, Cheaper Fabrics.

These are often used in group buys and mass production—cheaper upfront but at a cost.

Without a good PVC layer, the welding is weak, leading to tears on the zipper over time.

That’s also the reason why you see some owners complain about zipper tears where they have only been using them for 5 years!

A simple Google search would show that fabric zipper tears are a common problem. We discovered that the cause of is often substandard fabric, which results in weak bonding between the zipper and the fabric.

The homeowner consulted us after inherited the zip blind from the previous owner, who installed it five years ago. However, the fabric zipper has already torn.

Group Buy = “Goodbye to Quality”

You’ve probably seen these Condo Group Buy events popping up on Telegram group.

But here’s something interesting: these “limited-time” deals never seem to end!

This week. Next week. And the week after. What about months later?

Well, still the same “special” group buy price.

Sure, condo group buys might save you a few bucks upfront.

Seriously, at what cost?

Maybe that means saying…

  • Goodbye to Individual Attention – since they are too busy with high volume customers. Chances are, you’re just another number in the queue.

  • Goodbye to Quality Control – no QC, sub-standard installation, faulty products, and troubleshooting your no.1 time sucker.

  • Goodbye to Post-sales Support – well, just do a simple Google review check and you will see lots of horror stories. Like how a salesperson went completely MIA!

  • Maybe that also means saying goodbye to your appliances and furniture due to fault blinds. As it fails to protect against water leakage and damage!

The question is: Do you want to gamble your balcony belongings and your peace of mind—just to save a few hundred dollars, while risking leaks and costly repairs?

Yet, the more you look around, the more you start to wonder…

Why All These Brands
Have This ONE Thing In Common?

Why All These Brands
Have This ONE Thing In Common?

Different brands. Different suppliers. Different products.

Something doesn’t add up, doesn't it?

Yet somehow… They all have this one thing in common.

Coincidence? Maybe.

But then you notice…

Every single one of them hides behind the same weak, 5-year warranty—one that quietly stops covering labor and transport after Year 3. And when things go wrong? The key parts that actually make it functional again have barely any coverage.

Unless, of course,  you pay an exorbitant repair cost!

Now you know why.

Your suspicion is spot-on! Most brands don’t even have confidence in their own products.

Now That You Know the Truth…

Now That You Know the Truth…

Why settle for a zip blind that wasn’t built to last?

If these brands don’t even trust their own products, why should you?

How Are We Different?

Most zip blinds look the same—but they’re NOT built the same.

That’s why we engineered a zip blind system built for
long-term performance in Singapore’s humid, high-rise conditions.

#1 Founder-Led Workmanship
Backed by 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee!

Unlike others who focus on celebrity endorsements and heavy influencer marketing—pushing you to buy their ship-from-China OEM products with outsourced, third-party installers...

AusZip is different: We take pride in our workmanship. We want to deliver products we'd feel proud of if our own families were to use them.

At its core, AusZip is a fabrication shop. We design, fabricate, install, and servicing—everything is done in-house, by us.

Nothing is outsourced.

✔ Real in-house factory → cutting, welding, rolling, assembly + quality check are all done though in-house at our factory.

✔ Hassle-free, smooth MCST approval From submission to approval to completion. We handle everything for you.

✔ 100-hour workmanship  →  They don’t just install; they touch up, clean up debris, and ensure every step is done in the right order with minimal disruption. At the end of the day, they will submit a job satisfaction report with your sign-off.

✔ Responsive Customer Support → The founder is hands-on and oversees every issue, ensuring that any concern you have is resolved with speed and patience.

✔ That’s why we’re the only ones in the industry offering a risk-free 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee!

#2 A Proprietary System
Engineered to Last 8, 10 or even 15 years!

Most zip blinds barely last for 5 years before they start acting up.

But what if yours could last nearly a decade or more? We are talking about 8, 10 or even 15 years!

Some sneak-peak:

✔ Triple-Volume Bottom Bar → Added weight ensures smoother operation and prevents jams.

Double-Walled Keyway Tube → Reinforced for extra strength, keeping your wide zip blinds from sagging.

High-Frequency Welded Zippers → No more fabric tearing, even with daily use.

Wind Pressure Absorption Devices → Designed to handle strong winds without straining the frame.

Smart Reducers → Say goodbye to loose fabric, sagging, and the dreaded “smiling face” effect.

Every part of our system is custom-built for Singapore’s high-rise weather—not repurposed from overseas patio blinds that weren’t made to last.

#3 The ONLY Zip Blind
Backed by a REAL 8-Year Warranty

No hidden servicing fees. No surprise charges. Just real coverage.

A warranty should give you peace of mind, not unexpected costs.

That’s why ours is clear, fair, and built to protect you:

✔ Motor & System Coverage → If something fails, you’re covered—no extra charges.
✔ Customer Support That Cares → Expert guidance to help you maintain your blinds for the long run.

We’re confident in our product. That’s why we stand behind it with a real 8-year warranty!
